Why should you use this site?

Because you want to travel. Or, at least, you're interested in traveling, but aren't really sure how or if you should. But you've got an itch. Come hell or exams, you want to hit the road, move and groove, get out there and do, well, whatever it is that you consider fun. But how? There are tons of resources online and in the real world that you can use for your next trip, so why stick around on this one?

The chaps behind this site (and its sister site, Student Spring Break.com) – the 4 lads of BootsnAll.com, the Ultimate Resource for the Independent Traveler – are passionate about 2 things in this zapped-up loonball of a world: traveling, and helping other people use the 'Net to travel the way they want to travel. We know how awesome it is to travel, especially while you're in college. We put Student Travel Resources together, well, because we didn't have it when we were students. But that's also when we did a lot of our traveling; heck, college is how BootsnAll got started, when BnA's co-founders Sean (Yank) and Chris (Aussie) met at Australia's University of Queensland.

Since 1999, we've worked like mad to build sites that give traveler's eye-view information, and that help travelers connect with one another. Student Travel Resources is your way to make your travel plans from one website, instead of hopping from one end of the Web to the other. So here you go. We hope you like it, we hope you find it useful, we hope it helps you make your next trip even more amazing. (Email Sean at sean@BootsnAll.com if you have feedback or suggestions – we crave that.)

So why use this? Because hitting the road, and having a helluva time on it, is what this site, and BootsnAll, and us, are all about. You wanna go somewhere? Europe? Around the world? Backpacking through South American llama farms? Go to and do it. And by the way, don't let anyone stop you or tell you that you should be fiddling up your resume for that cush-o cube job. Bugger that. With a mortarboard.

Travel. It's an education all its own, and it will enrich your life now and later, in ways you'll have to see to believe. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. And remember too: Have you ever heard anyone say they wish they'd spent more time in the office? We haven't either. So let's get going.

Bookmark this site. Call it one of your favorites, love it, use it, hug and squeeze it, pimp it to your friends, call it George or Harriet or Razah El-Abeeb, whatever you do, keep us at-hand whenever you need to take a trip, be it home for a break or abroad for the summer. You'll be glad you did, both now and down the road.

Cheers,
The BootLads
